From August 10 to August 17, the 58th edition of the National Copper Fair 2024 will be held, which is celebrated, as is tradition every year in the magical town of Santa Clara del Cobre, Michoacán.

In this region, the Purépecha have been carrying out goldsmithing with hammered copper for a long time. The technique still consists of hitting the red-hot copper with rhythmic movements to shape the metal and make vessels, sculptures, objects of all kinds, whether for exhibition. artistic or commercial.

Del 10 de Agosto hasta el 17 de Agosto se realizará la edición número 58 de la Feria Nacional del Cobre 2024, que se celebra, como es tradición cada año en el Pueblo mágico de Santa Clara del Cobre, Michoacán.

En esta región, desde hace mucho tiempo los purépechas realizan orfebrería con martillado de cobre, la técnica aún consiste en golpear el cobre al rojo vivo con movimientos rítmicos para ir moldeando el metal y hacer vasijas, esculturas, objetos de todo tipo, sea para exposición artística o comercial.

Además la Feria Nacional del Cobre 2024 contará con abundantes actividades y eventos para ti y tus acompañantes; tales como: bailes folclóricos y populares; talleres de martillado de cobre, conciertos, ballets, presentaciones de artistas, cabalgatas, corredor gastronómico y exposiciones artísticas. La música ranchera, mexicana y llena de tradición no puede faltar.
